The apartment
A calm, newly renovated two-bedroom home with two large showers and a small private patio, in the artisan quarter of Monti. The Colosseum, the Forum and Termini station are all within a ten-minute walk.
Monti is the quarter Romans choose for dinner: wine bars, workshops, vintage shops and the piazza of Madonna dei Monti where the neighbourhood meets at night. Via Cavour is its spine, and the apartment sits on the first floor of a late nineteenth-century palazzo with a lift, on the quiet courtyard side.
Completely renovated in 2025 with oak herringbone floors and green-and-linen tones. Two spacious bedrooms, each with a double bed and a Smart TV with Netflix, Disney+ and DAZN. Two bathrooms with large showers. A living room with a double sofa bed, a modern kitchen with induction hob, oven and dishwasher, and a small private patio for a coffee outside.
Ten minutes on foot to the Colosseum and the Roman Forum, five to Santa Maria Maggiore, three to Cavour metro (line B) and twelve to Termini, which makes it the easiest of our homes for arrivals by train. Supermarket, pharmacy, cafés and a laundromat are on the doorstep. Families of five and six tell us the two bathrooms and the quiet make the difference.

Getting here
From Fiumicino: Leonardo Express to Termini (32 min), then a 12-minute walk or one stop on Metro B to Cavour. Taxis and transfers stop right outside. From Ciampino: bus to Termini.

“Great location. Super close to the Colosseum and very walkable. Surrounded by tons of great restaurants. Host was awesome and gave a ton of great suggestions and the apartment was also set up thoughtfully with wall plug converters, waters, etc.”
