The apartment
Brand new in 2025 and designed in natural wood, sage and linen: a bright, quiet one-bedroom with a rain shower, a balcony and everything you need for a couple or a small family, a short walk from the Vatican Museums.
Prati is the elegant, orderly quarter beside the Vatican: wide streets, art-nouveau palazzi, the market of Via Cola di Rienzo and the best pizza al taglio in the city. Via Rodi is one of its quiet residential streets, a few minutes from the Vatican Museums entrance and from Cipro and Ottaviano metro stations.
We rebuilt the apartment ourselves in 2025 with materials we would choose for our own home: oak floors, a bespoke wooden wardrobe, stone-effect bathroom with a walk-in rain shower and backlit mirror. The living room has a large double sofa bed, wall TV and a dining table; the open kitchen has oven, hob, fridge and Nespresso. The bedroom, with its double bed and independent air conditioning, looks onto the inner courtyard and is completely silent at night.
It is on the second floor with a lift and no steps inside, which makes it easy with a stroller or for older guests. A small balcony is the place for the first coffee of the day. Restaurants, bakeries, supermarket and pharmacy are all within two blocks; the historic centre is fifteen minutes by metro.

“The apartments are wonderful, they have absolutely everything you could need. The windows overlook the courtyard, so it's very quiet and nothing disturbs my sleep.”

“We stayed for 3 nights in the very bright, modern and superbly equipped apartment. It is located in a good residential area with many shops and restaurants nearby. […] Should we come to Rome again, I would book the apartment again immediately!!”

“The apartment was ideal for us with a small child. There was a small elevator that we could use to easily bring our stroller into the apartment. We were also provided with a travel cot. The apartment was very modern and clean and air-conditioned :) We were able to reach all the sights easily and quickly. We felt very comfortable and would be happy to recommend this apartment for a visit to Rome!”

The neighbourhood
Staying in Prati, by the Vatican
Prati is where Romans go to live well: broad streets laid out in the 1880s and 1890s, the Vatican Museums at the end of the block, and a food scene that has nothing to do with tourists.
